Our Gîte is situated in the beautiful Charente Maritime, on the west coast of France between La Rochelle to the north and Bordeaux to the south. 

The hamlet of Fiolle is in the vineyards of Cognac, with the Bordeaux wine growing region to the south, and the Medoc across the Gironde estuary. Sunflowers abound during June and July, just a stroll from the Gîte. 

Le Petit Saule is a fully equipped one bedroom Gîte. It has a bathroom with bath and separate shower, and includes bathrobes for your convenience. The kitchen is full sized with built in appliances including oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. For those winter getaways Le Petit Saule offers a cosy eco friendly pellet poêle.

 Want to try local produce? Ask Sue and Charlie about ‘themed baskets’ they  include local wines, and delicious local specialities. 

Le Petit Saule has its own private parking and outside patio area. Here you can choose to sit in the shade, and enjoy an evening aperitif. 

Question - ‘Can I book less than 3 days accomodation ?’ Answer - Usually Le Petit Saule is only available for 3 nights or more, but please contact us, and we may be able to help.
